County Commissioner candidate Sam Shoge shares why expanding economic opportunity is critical to Kent County's future and why too many working families struggle to build careers close to home.

Sam Shoge officially launched his campaign for Kent County Commissioner on May 6 at The Bank in Chestertown, where more than 50 supporters gathered to hear his vision for Kent County’s future. Shoge framed his campaign around a “debt of honor” to the community that raised and shaped him, outlining priorities focused on investing in schools, building more housing, growing the economy, and supporting the county’s most vulnerable residents.
