Sam Shoge joined fellow candidates Thad Bench, John Carroll, and David Foster at a League of Women Voters of Kent County forum, where he outlined a practical vision for strengthening schools, expanding housing, upgrading infrastructure, and growing opportunity. Shoge distinguished himself by offering specific strategies to increase housing supply — including a county-backed real estate development corporation — and by opposing a study that could increase property taxes on farmland during a volatile period for Kent County’s agricultural community.
